Hi! 👋 My name is Razielle Samaco and I strive to create work that visually is able to tell a story. I am always open to learning and trying new things to grow creatively and as a person. My favourite part of being a designer is collaborating with others and getting new and different perspectives.
About my object
I chose a banana leaf because I wanted to pick something that related to the Philippines and my culture, in Filipino cuisine the banana leaf is a traditional way of serving food. Plus it's functional, eco-friendly and pretty.
Supuritto
Supuritto, meaning split in Japanese, is a display typeface used for both digital and print. The typeface was inspired by a 90s Japanese fashion magazine named STREET.
Celestial Sounds
Celestial Sounds is a chapbook that showcases different songs about the moon. It includes lyrics from each song and a short description alongside illustrations that aid in visualizing the songs meaning and how the artist uses the moon as a symbol in their lyrics.
