Joey Wong is a designer born and raised in Toronto. Her strengths are in communication and visual design, although she enjoys experimenting with other art forms as well. She also really loves dogs.
About my object
I chose the record player because I really enjoy listening to music. In this age of streaming and downloads, it is nice to have a tangible object.
YĪFÚ
Yīfú is a magazine that explores the Chinese fashion scene by taking readers on a blast to the past, teaching them the trends of the present, and introducing them to the designers of the future.

KUÀIZI
Kuàizi (Chopsticks) is a light-hearted, claymation film that depicts the use of chopsticks in Asian households. This film follows a children’s storybook format and gives a glimpse of both the mundane and symbolic uses of chopsticks.

ROAM
Roam is an app that helps new or infrequent travellers on their journey from preparation to destination with a focus on accessibility, trip organization, and wayfinding. The Roam app was created in collaboration between myself and a very talented team of designers, Felicia, Izum, and Kelly.
