Hi, I’m Jacob, and I’m a designer and illustrator! I’ve always been a completely visual and creative person and have fortunately been able to use my skills in the formal arts and illustration as an asset to my design career, retaining a broad comprehension of formal visual qualities and techniques.
About my object
As someone who looks at almost EVERYTHING from a designer’s lens (it never ends with us, does it?), I’ve always thought of my physical appearance as a sort of visual identity, consisting of a fluffy coif of hair and round glasses.
Beggin' Strips Redesign
This redesign of the Purina Beggin’ Strips branding and packaging gives the brand identity a more modern, minimalistic, and illustrative look that is fun and full of the liveliness of a dog.
CIBC Redesign
This redesign of the CIBC brand identity refreshes all of the bank’s visuals and communication deliverables to evoke a sense of modernism and innovation while maintaining a level of professionalism that is approachable to clients both new and returning. This project was completed before the company's September 2021 redesign.
